Fast Glass at the Liverpool Design Show

| Fast Glass is a record-breaking challenge to compress the design, production and retail of a recycled glass item into just 24 hours. Only 100 of these items will be produced and they will be on sale exclusively at John Lewis Liverpool. |

| The day after the Design Show Liverpool’s VIP gala, Nick Munro, one of Britain's top designers, will create 3 designs on paper. Susan Rosella, manager of China and Glass at John Lewis Liverpool, will then select the one to be made. |

| Glass bottles will be collected from the VIP gala reception and melted down in a mobile furnace, live at the event. The glassware item will be available exclusively to buy at John Lewis Liverpool – in Ella Doran recycled packaging created from that day's Daily Post– within a day. All profits generated from the sale of the Fast Glass range will be donated to CREATE, a charity and social business based in Speke.
